From a local company run with a handful of friends and family back in 2007, BGB Group has now grown into a truly global business with over 100 employees in four locations. 

We are proud to be the go-to supplier of access solutions for offshore wind turbines for Ørsted worldwide with a presence on every single offshore wind turbine project in the United States.

Expanding across the globe

BGB have enjoyed a worldwide reach with our work for many years, supporting global leaders in the renewable energy field, such as Ørsted. Today, to support the growth of this work, and to ensure we provide our worldwide customers with the high levels of service they expect, BGB has expanded our operations across the world. 

In 2022, the company opened BGB Renewables LLC in Providence, Rhode Island to serve the rapidly growing US offshore wind turbine industry. This was followed in 2024 by the opening of BGB New Energy LLC in Taichung, Taiwan. And it doesn’t stop there.

BGB is currently looking to expand further, with our first Australian representative, who will be blazing a trail for our future plans for expansion down under. When we changed our name to BGB Group Global recently, it was no idle boast, it was a proud statement of fact.

BGB are trusted by the very biggest and best, with a presence on every Ørsted offshore wind project around the world. Ørsted are the world’s largest wind energy development company, and it speaks volumes that they hold BGB in such high regard.

Moving onshore

Having honed our skillset in the harshest of offshore scaffolding conditions, BGB is now moving back onshore once again, adding yet more strings to our already impressive bow. We have always maintained our original scaffolding company in Mostyn, North Wales, and now we are expanding its range of skills and services to support an even wider range of industry sectors.

BGB is bringing the innovative scaffolding access solutions, high voltage substation experience and rope access expertise learned on wind turbine projects to the rail, electricity, utilities and industrial sectors. And just like we did with Ørsted, BGB has made an immediate impact, winning contracts from a host of blue-chip clients including Tier 1 Rail Framework Contractors, the National Grid, British Gas and Anwyl Homes.
