Recruitment
BGB Group Global has grown rapidly in recent years, increasing to over 60 staff, doubling our turnover to more than £10million per annum and extending our operations around the world, from Taiwan to the United States.
We have achieved this growth organically, by recruiting and training locally and investing heavily in training. As a result, we have created a team of highly qualified, skilled and dedicated operators across a wide range of disciplines, and we are always on the lookout for more.
Exciting opportunities
BGB has an extensive order book of both offshore and onshore work, with contracts confirmed for the next few years and we’re in ongoing negotiations for work beyond that. This means we can offer confidence and job security in an increasingly uncertain world.
We have a major contract to supply offshore wind access solutions and safety services to one of the world’s largest wind energy companies. We also have many substantial onshore contracts, from housing to rail infrastructure, working with some of the best in the business. BGB is an ambitious company, and we are constantly expanding into new areas where we can apply our unique skills and experience.
If you’d like to be part of the exciting future at BGB, we’d love to hear from you.
Comprehensive training
We strive for continuous improvement and are constantly adding to and maintaining a compliance catalogue of audited accreditations and memberships that support our operations, including ISO45001, ISO9001, ISO14001, Constructionline Gold, Achilles UVDB, RISQS, IRATA, LEEA, LOLER and PUWER.
We are committed to fully supporting your career growth and development through ongoing training. Alongside fully funded courses and qualifications at CISRS approved training centres, you’ll also get to learn on the job from some of the industry’s most experienced operators.
If you have the potential, we’ll help you turn that into achievement at the very highest levels.
What we need from you
Ideally, we’re looking for local people from North Wales, the Wirral and Cheshire, although BGB has operations around the UK and across the world. You may need to be prepared to work away from home, often for extended periods.
Obviously, you will need a head for heights and a natural affinity for manual work, with the emphasis on working outdoors, year-round, in a range of often testing conditions.
Given the safety-first nature of our work, you will also need to be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, and agree to regular, random drug and alcohol screening.
To support our field operations, BGB also needs a talented team of management and administration staff for our offices in North Wales, as well as our US and Taiwan branches.
We’d love to meet you
Whether you have previous experience in scaffolding, rope access or similar work, or you feel that you have a transferable skillset and are looking for a fresh challenge with company that will bring out your best, we’d love to hear from you.
