Hornsea 2, which is located in the North Sea next to its sister project Hornsea 1, will generate enough green energy to power over 1.4 million UK homes. As the world’s largest offshore wind farm, it covers an area of 462 square kilometres.

Additionally, a significant number of our employees have undergone GWO, BOSIET, HUET-CA-EBS, Enhanced First Aid, and Advanced Rescue courses. Scaffold Inspection
BGB Group offers scaffold inspection services, conducted by CISRS trained inspectors with expertise in basic and advanced scaffold inspection.
Hire & Erection
BGB Group provides skilled scaffolders who have undergone rigorous training to erect, alter, and dismantle scaffolds. Our rates are competitive, and our technicians are highly qualified.
Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPS)
BGB Group has employees trained by the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) in the safety of using mobile vertical equipment. We ensure that our workers are proficient in operating MEWPS.
Access Towers
BGB Group offers aluminium access towers that are primarily used for short-term projects. These towers provide safe and efficient access for various tasks.
Encapsulation of Scaffolds

Offshore Wind Farms
Hornsea 1&2 Offshore Wind Farm, UK
BGB Group has been proudly providing specialist access solutions for both the Hornsea 1 and Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm projects. Since 2018 for Hornsea 1 and 2021 for Hornsea 2, the company has played a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable access to these state-of-the-art renewable energy facilities. Our expertise supports the installation, maintenance, and operation of critical infrastructure, contributing to the success of two of the largest offshore wind farms in the world.
Hornsea 2 Onshore Substation, UK
BGB Group has been delivering specialist access solutions for the Hornsea 2 onshore substation since 2020. Our work has been instrumental in ensuring safe and efficient access to critical infrastructure, supporting the construction, maintenance, and ongoing operation of this vital component of the Hornsea 2 offshore wind farm project.
Changhua 1&2a, Taiwan
BGB Group has been providing specialist access solutions for the Changhua 1&2a project in Taiwan since 2021. More recently, BGB New Energy has expanded its support by supplying QHSE Managers, Offshore Coordinators, Balance of Plant Technicians, and Inspection Technicians. These roles are integral to ensuring the safety, efficiency, and success of operations on this significant renewable energy project.
South Fork Wind, USA
BGB Renewables LLC supported the South Fork Wind project in 2023 at the commencement of its offshore phase. Our teams, led by specialist UK Supervisors, managed a diverse group that included US Union personnel. Our scope for the project included providing specialist access solutions for the export array and commissioning packages, as well as supplying QHSE Advisors. In addition, since 2024, we provide Crane Inspection Technicians to uphold the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency throughout the project’s operations.
Vineyard Wind, USA
BGB Renewables LLC has been providing specialist access solutions for Vineyard Wind USA since 2023, contributing to the safe and efficient development of this landmark renewable energy project.
Walney Extension, UK
BGB Group provided specialist access solutions for the Offshore Substation and Turbine at the Walney Extension project in the UK from 2017 to 2018, following damage caused by a collision. In collaboration with the client, BGB worked swiftly and safely to ensure the timely erection of the necessary structures, mitigating potential delays and ensuring the project remained on track.
Revolution Wind, USA
BGB Renewables, for the Revolution Wind project in the USA has provided specialist access solutions for both the export and commissioning packages. This included the design and installation of complex outboard scaffold structures, which enabled the lowering of the walk-to-work structure on the offshore substation. Additionally, we deployed a specialist rope access team at the commencement of the offshore work to ensure the substation was made safe for all personnel, allowing for a secure and efficient start to the project.
