BGB Group, a global provider of Access, Industrial and Operating & Maintenance (“O&M”) Services to the world’s energy infrastructure, has agreed a majority investment from Continuation Partners, a long-term oriented, private investment firm, founded by Daniel Langley.

This partnership will fuel BGB’s international expansion and strengthen its ability to deliver turn-key services across the lifecycle of energy assets. Alongside this investment, Daniel Langley will join BGB as CEO, with BGB’s Founder, Ben Badham, remaining a member of the management team and a significant shareholder in the business.

Founded in 2007, BGB has evolved from an Onshore Access business in Wales, to a global leader in Offshore Wind, specialising in the construction, commissioning and maintenance of Offshore Substations and Wind Turbine Generators. To date, BGB has:

• Worked on the construction of 22.3 GW of offshore wind since 2017 (representing over 50% of all globally constructed offshore wind farms excl. China);
• Provided Access and Industrial Services to every offshore wind farm in North America;
• Provided Operations & Maintenance services to Offshore Substations and Wind Turbine Generators in Taiwan and is rolling these services out internationally.

The Company operates globally, with offices in the U.K., the U.S., Taiwan, and today, is also announcing the opening of a new office in Gdansk, Poland.
