Compliant and Certified

Fully compliant and certified

Every scaffolding system we design, erect, adapt or dismantle is created to protect your team and your assets, and ensure the highest standards of QHSE are met.

All BGB Group scaffolding systems meet, and often exceed, the latest legislation and best practice guidance, including:

  • Work at Height Regulations 2005
  • Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
  • BS EN 12811 – Temporary Works Structures
  • NASC Guidance:
    • TG20:21 – Good Practice for Tube & Fitting Scaffolds
    • SG4:22 – Preventing Falls in Scaffolding Operations
    • TG4:19 – Anchorage Systems
    • SG6:22 – Manual Handling

Naturally, all of our operatives hold valid CISRS cards appropriate to their grade (Labourer, Scaffolder, Advanced Scaffolder, Inspector), and all supervisors are SSSTS/SMSTS certified.

Safety-first approach

BGB Group design and construct scaffolding access solutions that prioritise worker protection, public safety and operational continuity at all times.

To achieve this, we specify the latest scaffolding safety systems and equipment, including:

  • Scaffold steps, dummy lifts and advanced guardrail systems for collective fall prevention
  • Inertia reels, twin-lanyard harnesses and mobile man anchors for all personnel working at height
  • Digital handover certificates, scaffold registers and 7-day statutory inspections

To promote the highest standards of safety during scaffolding-based operations, our supervisors perform toolbox talks, task briefings and daily safety walks. This ensures that all operators are fully briefed and aware of their responsibilities, and that all scaffolding access solutions are erected to spec and ready for safe use.
